Day 22 — A Website

Attention, all writers!  🙂

Advice To Writers

This website is a treasure trove for every type of writer out there. Budding and experienced, young and old… the first nifty thing about this site – and my favourite aspect of it – is that they have writerly ‘Quotes of the Day’, which are quick, little snippets of advice to think about. They post them on their Twitter account too. They’re usually from actual authors – what a nice surprise, I know 😛 – but they’re from people who really understand what it’s like to be a writer. And the quotes are always different – something to suit everyone. They even frequently contradict each other, which is brilliant 😀

Plus, they have these quotes/tips sorted by subject too, listed just down the left hand side of their site. I’ve read the quotes on Writer’s Block most recently, haha, because I’ve just had a terrible lack of inspiration!

The other awesome thing about this website is their vast source of essays and articles about writing. There are honestly so many! I could spend so much time sifting through them all. Bad, right? And if that isn’t enough, just keep scrolling. Lists of writing blogs, reference websites, writing podcasts – even reasons why you shouldn’t be a writer! *giggles* Brilliant.

Ooooh, and they have their own book.

Yeah. So. If you’re any kind of writer, this website is definitely worth a look 🙂

Have fun!

P.S. And GOSH I love you all – I just reached 1000 hits! *dances like a maniac* Happy times.
