Day 23 — A YouTube Video

First of all, may I just apologise again for my absence! I managed to survive without internet (barely!), and then resisted distracting myself for two days while I focused on finishing my essays for uni – left them a bit late, but got them done on time, which is what matters!

So, on with the show!

Lil’ Beached Whale!

This is an epic video which makes fun at the Kiwi accent 😉 My friend from America was the one who first showed it to me, ironically enough! Since then, I’ve showed to a couple other friends who aren’t from New Zealand – and according to them, I actually DO sound like this! Must be all lies, of course 😉 Teeheee. I wish I could hear our accent…

1,667 words (a NaNoWriMo song!)

This is a MUST LISTEN for fellow Wrimos! Hilarious. And inspiring! I stumbled across this song just before NaNoWriMo last year, and seriously, this song helped me on the way to victory. And damn, it’s addictive – gets stuck in  my head way so often! Captures the essence of this crazy novelling month perfectly 🙂

Stephen Fry Kinetic Typography – Language

Now this is just plain cool! Really neat editing skills, and a very interesting topic too. That, and I could listen to Stephen Fry reading a freaking dictionary, his voice is that lovely 🙂

How about all of you lot, then? I’m sure I’m not the only one who gets distracted and spends hours on YouTube… 😉 Any recommendations?

It’s great to be back!

Have fun!
